As a team leader in a restaurant, my role involves overseeing and coordinating the activities of the restaurant staff to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service. Overall, my role as a team leader in a restaurant involves wearing many hats and juggling multiple responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant and the satisfaction of both customers and staff.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Very much as my coach is absolutely brilliant and nothing is a problem for him. If I need help he is always there for me and I learning new staff every day. He always understands my needs and never judge me. He is assets to any learners and gem for your company

That is some of the skills that I improved as team leader in a restaurant.
1. Leadership: Effective leadership skills are crucial for my managing and motivating a team in my restaurant, delegating tasks, and resolving conflicts.
2. Communication: Strong communication skills in my role are essential for effectively conveying expectations, providing feedback, and facilitating teamwork among my restaurant staff.
3. Time Management: Effective time management skills help me to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflow in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
4. Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills are very important for me
snd ensuring guest satisfaction and handling customer inquiries or complaints professionally and courteously helps me to develop me improvements in my role.
5. Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly and effectively problem-solve is essential for my role and addressing unexpected issues or challenges that may arise during restaurant operations.
6. Organization: Good organizational skills are important for managing schedules, inventory, and other administrative tasks in the restaurant.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very as I see my coach every 4 to 6 weeks where we reviews my progress and he helps me to do all stuff I need to complete my program. I have all resources I need for all my units and if I struggle my coach helps me without any problems.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot as my General manager is amazing and helpful and very supportive in my development and my apprenticeship as well as my Kitchen manager who is very helpful as well as well if I need more help my regional manager is very helpful as well. I have a lot of support from my employer.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Any qualifications as assets and help in any role. Progress I'm doing helps to improve my development and my quality of my work as I love my job and I enjoy learning more and new skills. Im very happy with stuff I'm learning and I can see improve in my performance in my role as team leader.
