Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is to work with SEN students who need that extra support in lessons as well as working with teachers and colleagues to get classroom standards as high as possible.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My programme is adaptive and has molded itself perfectly with my day to day life in a school. i find myself doing assignments that have perfectly matched with the day i just had!
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt so many skills including working with children ages 11-18 and working with other members of staff in a professional setting that i have not yet experienced. Even if i do not continue with teaching these are skills i will take with me everywhere!

Very organised if you work with a tutor and keep on top of everything
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots. i have loads of different ways to touch base with people who employ me, and every time i reach out i am met with nothing but kindness and more support than i could imagine

Lots - i get emails weekly about new opportunities and ways to get myself out into the world even more than i have
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My setting have agreed to hire me because of my new qualification which i never would have if it wasn’t for my training provider!
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There’s lots of sporting activities as well as social activities planned by the school committees

I have achieved so much in the last year and i am in a place mentally and financially that i couldn’t have dreamed of this time last year
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Inspire ATA Ltd.?
Make sure you stay in touch with everyone offering support to you as it goes a long way. No questions are too difficult and everyone will go out of their way to help you if you try your absolute best - this is the only thing anyone asks of you!
