Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Quality of live classes, trainers and support for portfolio is generally good but there is a lot of duplication & overlap in the learning which can feel tedious at times.
You will be asked to complete many pointless tasks on top of your OTJ hours that don't add value or support your learning, it just feels like box-ticking for Kaplan to try and make themselves look good.
The content on MyKaplan is okay but the platform itself is awful - It's hard to navigate and makes it unclear what tasks learners need to complete.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

On the whole I enjoy the programme and especially the live classes - Although some subjects are too drawn out. But overall the repetition of learning and the level of admin/box-ticking impacts the enjoyment.

I have learnt many useful skills as a BA that I can implement in my day-job.
I have also been taught a lot of theory that is not really practical to use in the workplace but some of it is still interesting to learn about.

Why?
The Apprenticeship is too big of a time commitment for the pay-off as most of the content you would not use in the workplace. Do the BCS diploma or individual exams instead.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Kaplan Financial Limited?
If you are going to do it be organised with your time and utilise your 121s with your trainer to ensure you are clear on what tasks you need to complete.
