I am doing my level 4 in lead adult care and paragon are fabulous at supporting me with my journey and I am very passionate about it. 😊 learning and development is essential for PDP!

Loads! I have learnt to self reflect more on myself. A lot of my course has been about reflective cycles and practices which helps me learn and grow every day. 😊

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very well organised. The structure of bud is brilliant and the marketing team are so good at what they do. I’m proud to be a part of it. 😊

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support is amazing, my mentor schedules time to see me in person when most of my course is self taught- she is brilliant and so supportive of me. When I judge myself she reminds me how brilliant my work is and it really helps reassure me. ❤️
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It is massively crucial to my role. I’m a home trainer and this course has taught me how to lead my team.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Loads! I took part in a video for paragon skills on national apprenticeship week😊- it’s on YouTube! I won an award for the best learning and development member in avery. It has helped me so much in my personal life.

Why?
I would highly recommend paragon skills because it is a company that really show how much they care about learning & development. The team are brilliant and really good at staying in touch with learners. I have seen other apprenticeship programmes with little support. A massive part of paragons induction process talks you through the importance of reaching out if you’re struggling with mental health- I find it admirable that the team have put in so much effort to support people with this. The learning is fun and the Bud platform is so easy to navigate!! Couldn’t ask for more. They make learning fun and I’m so proud that I am part of the learning bunch.😊😊😊
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Paragon Skills?
Really browse around! They have soo many courses to choose from. Also don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it! You’re only human and we all need help sometimes. The team just happen to be wonderful too.😊❤️
