Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I help managers deliver for their clients and act mostly in a supportive role so that I can learn.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I am still relatively new and therefore I sometimes do not feel extremely useful since there is so much to learn still however, I am sure this will change over time as I acquire more skills.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I learn an immense amount every single day and I do not think that my learning will slow down any time soon.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
There is a clear structure in place however you still have access to the people right at the top regardless of you your level.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
There is a range of support available and I found it extremely useful to be provided with a "Buddy" that helped you find your feet when you first joined.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Everyone is extremely understanding when you have time off for your studies.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I think the qualification itself is very useful and indeed helps me in my job but I also feel that you learn so much just by working day to day so the qualification that you receive is not the only place that you draw knowledge from.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are plenty of different groups to join as well as sport teams.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend EY to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I have learnt so much in my time here and I have only been at EY for 3 months. The opportunity that I have to progress my career is incredible.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
Honestly just be yourself because any interview that you do is an opportunity for you to assess if the company is a good fit for you.
I would also try to participate and be as involved as possible at every stage as they love to see initiative being taken and a desire to learn.
