Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Have been at college for most of the last three months studying to be ICAS qualified. When in the office I have mostly been supporting others with their work and doing admin type tasks, whilst trying to gain a greater understanding of tax and the way the company operates in general.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I do enjoy my programme. I think it is a really good opportunity for me, and the company makes it enjoyable through socials etc.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes plenty of new skills. I have learnt masses from college, and then feel like I learn something new every day at work. Furthermore, I have learnt general office skills such as excel and other similar programs, as well as how to use more specific software for my role only.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very well structured - there is a clear pathway that I can follow.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Lots of support - they have been very helpful through things such as college and illness, as well as general support around the office.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Pretty good support - although in my opinion too much of the teaching is provided online which makes it more difficult.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It helps a lot. Before I joined I had no relevant knowledge, so learning at college has made working possible.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Yes - there are networks, sports clubs and socials. The networks and sports clubs tend to be more prevalent in London.
