Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Every day is different! You could be in college or could be on a client engagement. The majority of work I do is substantive testing, which is the most interesting part of my job (for me personally)!
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy it! The experience is very challenging, but this is the best part!

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Teamwork would be my number 1 skill which I have developed, followed by time management. As a non-native speaker I can see how I have improved my English as well.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
I personally have been given a good range of clients and so I am happy. My college time is in blocks, so I can fully focus on studying
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My teammates are very supportive. I also have a counsellor who is lovely
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My teachers are very supportive and experienced. I rarely feel sleepy, although the college days are long
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It doesn't help massively, but at least it helps to understand the basics
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, I have recently signed up for a badminton club

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend EY to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Challenging but rewarding experience. They also sponsor visas for international grads. Most importantly, everyone is lovely, whoever you speak to. I think this is because there are so make stages in the application process, so only the best people get the job!
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
Prepare for your interview well, make sure you know what your exams will involve
