Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
I conduct audit work for Financial services firms, specifically Insurance companies.
Day to Day I work on accounts which I assigned, such as premiums or claims, I then look to audit that balance by speaking with the client.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
The learning is set up well and I have sufficient resources, this means that I enjoy the learning. In terms of the client work I do, it is interesting but there is a lot of work at times.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I have learned how to collaborate, work individually, manage my time and speak in a way which is meaningful and concise. I have furthered my accounting knowledge and become knowledgeable on areas of insurance.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It is well organized and I know what is expected of me. The content I learn is set out so that it does not clash with my work commitments. The only downside is that sometimes things are communicated in good time and its hard to plan.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
There is great support but as it is big business it does sometimes feel as though we are lost in the system, I do understand that this is most likely just the nature of working for a big business.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
We receive good support when it comes to learning, we have a decent amount of study time but it does feel rushed at times as we have a quick turnaround when it comes to learning and exams.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It helps a lot but on a broader scale, the work I do is specific to insurance, my qualification is more general.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
No
