Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My job as a sales marketer entails finding, vetting, and engaging potential clients. I also have to understand their wants and present them with solutions that are specifically designed to address their needs. In a typical day, I conduct market research on potential clients, stay current on product and industry trends, create and deliver targeted pitches, run marketing campaigns like webinars and email campaigns, attend networking events, and build and maintain relationships with clients. Along with tracking and appropriately monetizing all leads, it is also my responsibility to make sure that my messaging is consistent with my brand.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I genuinely enjoy my job as a it not only gives me the chance to establish deep connections with clients, but it also exposes me to the most recent advancements in the market. I like being stretched intellectually and having to come up with original ideas for my clients. I firmly feel that my efforts are helping the business succeed and expand, and I'm happy of it.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My career has given me a lot of expertise and insight. By efficiently utilizing a variety of software tools, including CRM, email marketing, and analytics tools, I have improved my technical abilities. My verbal and writing communication skills have also significantly improved, which I utilise to engage consumers and forge partnerships. Additionally, I have improved my networking abilities so that I can form significant collaborations and partnerships.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My sales and marketing plan is structured and well-organized. I know exactly what I need to accomplish each week to meet my sales targets and have a clear plan of action. I can simply assess my progress and the effectiveness of the campaigns I'm working on since I have access to all the information and resources I need to organised my job. Additionally, it is simple for me to coordinate my efforts with the business goals of the organisation in order to deliver the greatest outcomes.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Since day one, my employer has given me excellent assistance. On all facets of the job, including the internal systems, databases, and best practices, they have given me training. Additionally, a seasoned mentor who has been assigned to me offers me ongoing direction and counsel as well as a variety of tools to help me succeed. I also have access to team members and the leadership team for sales and marketing, who are always willing to address any queries or issues I may have.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There are numerous online and in-person seminars accessible that aid in my development of the abilities and knowledge required for success. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I believe that my training provider's certification helped me significantly in improving my performance in my job as a sales marketer. It has given me priceless knowledge and insights into the most recent trends and best practices in the sector. Additionally, I now have a better knowledge of how market shifts might influence client demands and expectations. Because of this, I am now able to design campaigns that are more successful and make sure I am giving my customers the best possible options.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have had the opportunity to get involved in several extra-curricular activities since starting in my role. My team hosts quarterly social events for coworkers, such as potlucks and happy hours, which helps to create a positive work environment. My employer also encourages us to explore and learn more about our industry by providing access to a variety of webinars, classes and seminars, as well as sponsoring networking events.
