Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is in the financial side of adult social care. I work for a department in Devon County Council called client financial services. I do banking, client invoicing, client payments, client refunds, spreadsheeting, explaining assessments for clients finances when they need care arranged by the adult social care system in Britain.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme because I've learnt many new skills. The only backdrop is that there is a mountain of work and sometimes a rush to the deadlines. recently i've gone onto a positive mindset of repeating positive phrases to myself in order to drown out any thoughts of doubt.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt new skills. i've learnt office based skills. i've learnt microsoft package skills - natably forms, excel, word, whiteboard, teams, outlook, general windows etiquette, powerpoint and to/do. i've learnt how to talk to customers on the phones and how to answer their queries (based on questions related to my department).
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is fairly well structured. The learning platform, bud, is very easy to use. it's sometimes a rush to get deadlines completed and the requests for things we haven't been told/taught by the tutor sometimes comes out of nowhere, such as getting the portfolio ready for apprenticeship completion. Apart from that it's quite a clear programme structure.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

In terms of volume of support I receive a lot of support from my employer. My manager is always there to ask questions if I need help, so are my colleagues. In the weekly email newsletter, mental health sessions or similarly related things are mentioned.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My tutor has sessions with me once a month. We don't go over much content unless we ask about it. She's happy to answer any questions we have on email so we can ask anything at any time. In terms of class sessions, we don't really have those.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification helps me perform better in my role to an above average level. For example, we had to do an essay studying data protection regulation related to my department. That is a direct help to performing better in my department.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
