Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Working on a Credit Execution Desk, producing data reports / marketing / highlighting key clients to target etc.
Other data analysis
Working with enablements and sales to get clients set-up / fixing relating issues
Helping clients with operational issues
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
The best days are the ones which are fast paced, full on with little breathing time. It is very fulfilling to see work turn into value add for the business or revenue generation.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Developing data skillset and technical ability.
Communication and team working are key, and developed well.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Quite well structured, the blend of 4 days work and 1 study day is nice, and gives you the opportunity to grow academic, critical thinking skills alongside work. It can get quite intense/crammed but overall if you can manage this isn't an issue.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
A good amount, enough where you feel supported but enough to push you out of your comfort zone.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
A good amount. Could do more workshops or in person based support but the level they provide suffices.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Everyone's job roles and desks are so specific so there's content that definitely isn't application to your job role. That being said there is also a lot which is. Would be nice to have more technical/IT related content.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are networking events, a long team sporting/volunteering events. These are great events to network at.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to UBS?
Make sure you read up around market events, or anything relating to UBS. It is likely they will want to know whether you really do have an interest in the bank.
