I do Audit work on different projects, ticking through the Financial statement areas and testing their accuracy.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme a lot, there is plenty of support and lots of colleagues of a similar age, so it is quite a social environment

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learned a lot going through my exams about accounting - the job role has also helped me in teamworking and communication skills, and taking responsibility for sections of the audit

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well organised, the exams structure and timings make logical sense - the only downside is the vast amount of admin to stay on top of alongside the job and the exams

Reasonable support - the training materials are very detailed and the structure of their presentation and classes are well managed

It definitely helps a lot as the learning is very much providing the basis of what i need to know to perform my jobs well

Why?
Its a social environement with lots of support to get you through the exams
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BDO?
The ACA is not an easy task to accomplish, make sure you are applying to somewhere with plenty of support, both from your employer and your colleagues
