Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Communicating with your internal team and the external clients in order to review the financials of the entity which we are auditing. Need to use professional judgement and integrity to ensure there is no fraudulent behaviour and all monetary records have been accounted for.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The people make the job worthwhile, the work can be repetitive and challenging, especially with the difficulty of juggling intense exams. But the people at BDO is what is a huge motivator.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, have become much more competent when using Excel and reading financial documents. Furthermore, have developed my professional communication skills.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I find the direction confusing sometimes, but usually with the pointers of skills sessions - fairly easy to navigate.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

From my experience, teams and understanding when you have exams and revision to do after work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Catch up calls are fairly infrequent, but don't necessarily need more than they give - would be good to send out more reminder emails for tasks i think

I think it makes the understanding of FS easier, but in regards to my sector no help.
