Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
My role technically starts with the expected tasks i am supposed to do for the day. If i struggle i can usually refer to a senior or someone higher for assistance.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
I enjoy the programme as i feel i am always being challenged and the amount of things that i can learn daily is big however going to college and doing exams is very intense as we're expected to cover and understand topics in a very short time.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I learn a variety of different things daily and get the chance to improve my skills on a daily basis such as excel formulas or getting to use other EY programme such as the GLA and improve my overall knowledge of audit and the work.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme is very well structured as we work for most of the year and are aware when we have exams and when we will be working on different jobs.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
There is a lot of support from the employer as there is always somebody who is available to talk to in regards to any concerns,
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
1/5
There are barely any resources available for revision and the training provider does not keep any other sources of support available for students.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend EY to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It's a great place to start your career, and to develop your skills and knowledge about finance and to work with a range of big companies.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
I would recommend researching about the company and what they do as it will be asked in the interviews as well as to practice some situational judgement tests to make it through the different rounds.
