verall, working at Transport and Logistics at British Airways as a work experience student was a great experience. I had the opportunity to learn about different areas of the business and gain insight into the way the company operates. I was able to develop my problem-solving and organizational skills, as well as my understanding of the logistics industry. I also had the chance to interact with the staff, who were all very friendly and welcoming. It was a great way to get a taste of the working world and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a work experience opportunity

My work experience at British Airways as a Transport and Logistics was very well organised. The company provided me with clear instructions and guidance on the tasks I had to complete throughout my placement. I was given timely feedback and support to help me understand how my work was beneficial to the company. I was also given opportunities to learn new skills and enhance my knowledge of the industry

What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?

During my work experience as Transport and Logistics at British Airways, I gained valuable skills in supply chain management, freight forwarding, customer service, and problem solving. I also developed a better understanding of the airline industry, its regulations and operational procedures. Additionally, I attended several industry specific training programs which provided me with an improved understanding of the different facets of the logistics industry, such as customs regulations, shipping methods and supply chain management. I also learned the importance of communication, teamwork and accuracy in the workplace.

How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?

During my work experience at British Airways, I learnt a lot about the company culture and how it would be like to work there. I learnt that British Airways has a highly professional and friendly atmosphere, with everyone working together to provide the best possible service to customers. I also learnt that all employees are expected to be punctual and reliable, and to display a high level of customer service. I was also able to see first-hand how the company operates, from the way that the staff interacted with customers, to the way that the logistics side of the business was managed. All in all, I gained a great understanding of what it would be like to work for British Airways as a work experience student and I am confident that I have the necessary skills to be a successful employee.
