Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I worked closely with multiple people in TA and assisted them with various projects required to continue to maintain the safety of the rail network in the UK. I continually had regular meetings, both formal and informal, with my managers to discuss my progress and any concerns or thoughts I had on the work and how it could be improved
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given work that I could do independently, that would be rolled out across the region, ensuring the safety of railway workers and commuters that use the railway regularly. Based on this, I was given much responsibility on this vital project, while also being given independent work by others in the department
