Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am a project manager apprentice, in the transformation delivery team. I attend meetings everyday, involving planning and updating documents. This can include discussions on the project or programme with senior stakeholders.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Having respect in the team, especially since everyone is a lot older than me.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Presentation skills, how to talk to key stakeholders, priorsation skills, and people skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very well organised, only thing is the learning side. But this is an external company that comes in to teach us about project management.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Loads, sometimes too much, we have several people we can go to including our work managers, line manager, mentors amd placement line manager. There is a whole system in place.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
Some, but not enough as moving from school 5 days a week to only once a month is not right for me.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Having that knowledge to use it in the field is quite useful at the beginning, to gauge what the role is all about.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Tons, from volunteering experiences to the team evening and days away, it is a lot of fun, but really good to get to know the team further.
