Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
For the duration of the spring week, sessions would start at ~9am and end at about 5pm with breaks in between. Throughout time would be split between various presentations and occasionally working on the group project.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
There were several sessions regarding careers at Morgan Stanley and the various pathways possible to explore, including a conversion interview at the end of the week.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone I interacted with from the company was very nice and very positive. The atmosphere was very pleasant in sessions of all sizes, from large presentations to interviews.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed the experience! It was wonderful to get to interact with so many people from across the entire business and to learn about all facets of the business, as well as meeting plenty of other people on the insight program.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Morgan Stanley
Work very hard on preparing for the HR interview. Practice common interview questions. Also work on your ability to explain your technical decisions and problem solving. This will put you in a good position for both types of interviews used.
