Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role revolved (rotation through all service lines throughout the duration of the internship) around different service lines within the Extended Enterprise Risk Management. It is mainly consulting work where we serve as consultants to help clients manage their third-party risks.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I worked directly with a Director to write a real client's risk analysis report as well as participated in client calls.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture was very supportive and there was a lot of diversity and inclusivity at the firm! They made sure we were comfortable in our roles and helped us achieve the goals we set for ourselves throughout the internship.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed it a lot as it gave me a really good sense as to how the company's culture was like as well as the kind of work that it would entail. Despite the work being challenging at times, there are always people who I can reach out to for guidance and help.

Be yourself and be open and receptive to learning and absorbing new ideas because the firm is full of incredibly smart people and the diversity definitely lends to the firm's strengths!
