Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Overview of my role was to assist team members in delivering the projects for clients. My day to day role involved, emailing, calling, testing data, reviewing evidence, writing up a work paper and helping write the client report.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I was given more and more responsibility throughout my placement. I really enjoyed this as it enabled me to improve my knowledge of the job and the requirements and learn more about the industry.

I received lots of support and guidance from regular check ins from my buddy, monthly meetings with my manger and talking to other experienced members of the team as well.

Company culture is very inclusive and nurturing. I worked with a wide range of people from different countries and everyone was so lovely and willing to help when I needed.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I absolutely loved it. I had such a great year and learned a lot from the job. I would recommend everyone to do a placement year to get the valuable experience.
