Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My daily tasks would consist of processing invoices, managing the IT budget, purchasing hardware/software and authorising purchases.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Every task that was handed to me was meaningful, I was a placement student making real choices that affected the business day to day. The responsibility allowed me to develop my business mindset and understand how each action has its own consequence.

I developed many skills during this position, time management, multitasking, working with clients worldwide, budgeting and forecasting costs.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
During my time with Randstad, I received a signficiant amount of support. This was beneficial as I was supported when I struggled with a task and guided to the right path. My line manager, the director of IT and CIO all supported me whenever it was required. This will not be forgotten.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company atmosphere was amazing as the company is diverese and inclusive, this meant it was easy for me to fit in as there were lots of traits I personally carried that boded so well with the company and my colleagues.
