Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The main responsibilities of my role was within daily reporting - taking real time data from company interfaces and processing it via procedures into finalised reports ready for sending onto relevant teams and individuals. On top of this I completed training, shadowing and networking as well as procedure reviews and training material creation.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, from the beginning I was given a healthy amount of responsibility and independence.

This internship allowed me develop my existing set of skills, particularly in data processing and communication. It also enabled me to develop new corporate and office based skills which I previously had no experience in.

I recieved a very adequate amount of support during this internship, particularly in the begininning when I was taking up a sizable workload in a short time-frame. Through my team I always had people I could ask questions to / request help from.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The overall company culture of Morgan Stanley was very vibrant and accepting. I immediately felt welcome and part of the team and wider company. I felt that the core values of Morgan Stanley were truly adhered to on a daily basis

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I truly enjoyed my time with Morgan Stanley. The campus team did great with making sure there were always other activities going on along side individual interns daily workloads. My team were great in welcoming me and giving me a real chunk of responsibilty from early on in the internship.
