Summer Analyst Review

Finance Summer Analyst - Each day was different, but in general, I started my day off by attending a meeting with my manager to discuss the agenda for the day. Then, throughout the day there would be team meetings, training sessions, networking events set up by my manager and the HR team. In between meetings, I would complete different tasks before the deadline.

Even though my internship was held virtually, I was given responsibility to complete a wide range of tasks. This included responsibilities given by my manager and also other members from my team. I was also responsible for managing a team myself.

Yes most certainly, throughout the whole internship I learnt and developed so so many skills. Including some I didn't expect like leadership and team management skills.

I received so much support and guidance throughout the whole internship. With the internship being virtual it was just going to be harder than being in person. However, everyone was amazing, they were checking up on me to make sure I was doing fine. All of them were so friendly and just willing to help you, even if that means asking them the reexplain something several times.

The company culture was just incredible, never have I met more welcoming and friendly people. Everyone I networked with was willing to spend time answering my questions about my work and career. They even gave me career advice and just genuinely wanted the best for me. Even though the whole internship was done virtually the atmosphere still felt great as there were monthly team events.

I really enjoyed my internship, I have learned so much. Not only about my role but also other roles within the company. It has been a real joy to have networked with people from all over the world and hear their ideas and career paths. Even though the internship took place virtually I was still able to take part in volunteering which was incredible.
