Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Supporting supply chain and logistics to ensure stock is coming in within goods in allowances and cash budget. Work closely with buying team and suppliers with any issues that arise.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed the workshops and tasks as it allowed me to use these skills in real life. Only part I didn't enjoy as much was the workloads towards the middle/end f the programme.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Built my confidence in leading a team. Improved my communication and organisational skill which has helped me further my career.

I felt like it was structured well however wasn't very organised at the start as we switched tutors
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Line manger was good as they had also done the programme however in a fast paced business it was hard to put all the time in ensure this programme was completed to the best of my ability.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Good amount of support, if I needed something my tutor or workshop trainer always were there. Regular 1-2-1's with tutor was beneficial
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

This was very helpful to perform better and as a result had 2 promotions from the start of the programme.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, our department usually get involved in holding a yearly sports day and supply chain get together every few months. We also get to interact with suppliers
