Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I work as part of a tech engineering team, take on tasks which are open and generally support in the open actions of my team where possible
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy the work I take on and working with the people both in my direct project team as well as others on the apprenticeship programme.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes I've gotten more experienced with using proprietary vendor tools which I would not have done otherwise. Developing existing professional and technical skills as well.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It could be better structured. Although I've enjoyed being thrown into the work and getting hands on experience I would prefer having a more standardised experience with activities specifically to support apprentices, similar to the graduate experience with rotations and timeframes.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Receive a lot of support and know who to contact should I need help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Have weekly workshops and residentials at the university where modules are introduced and work explained. I also have been made aware of who to contact should I need support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
Currently the qualification doesn't really help me in my role, seems to work the other way with my role helping the qualification aspect.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes there's quite a few.
