As a personal tutor I provide learners with informed exciting lessons that support with learning more about topics that relate to their work role in health and social care and the apprenticeship they are working towards.

Yes absolutely. More about being creative in approach with others, understanding the importance of holistic teaching that allows each individual to excel and expand on knowledge.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It was a new area for me to learn and expand on. It was well organised and structured. Perhaps a slightly longer programme period may have been beneficial for other learners.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Very supportive with a great manager and senior colleagues that helped with new work experiences and shadowing.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Great support. Always contactable whether it was a teams meeting, call or a call there was never a bad time and something could always be booked in if needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Yes there is - as most of the working day is virtual we all try and connect as a team.

Why?
It was a great first experience in the world of apprenticeships. The holistic approach is also person centred in its way that learning and support is lead. If there was a day I was unsure about doing it, the support was helpful and gave me confidence to succeed.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Paragon Skills?
One hundred percent take the leap!
