Accounting Apprentice Review

The day to day involves having daily calls and completing tasks. The tasks can be filling out work papers and updating the TB figures and also getting information from companies house to use. The usually start time is 9am but you can start earlier than that and so finish earlier

It is well organised we have our studying booked out in a calendar for the next 3 years so we can be booked to clients when we are needed and there will be no conflict with our education which is important. However, clear outlines of what qualification you have at certain stages would be helpful.

The support can very on what you need and what jobs you are on. Some studying issues I have had an I have reached out to my Performance Manager and they did not reply to my email and they said they didn't know what to do but I know that other Performance Managers we're able to help other apprentices but was not able to help me.

There is a lot of support from BPP with their teaches as well as the hub which is a great resources as there is many videos there for you to watch if you missed something in class or you need to go over what you learnt again to gain a better understanding. The AAT website is good also as the practice papers are the same format of the ones you will sit

It allows you to gain a better understanding of what your actually doing and why you are doing it, it also helps you to be able to do the work more efficiently as you understand. Furthermore, the knowledge that you learning from your education helps you to understand other things in the world like a VAT invoice for example.

There is sometimes a lack of respect for what you do as when you join you are at the bottom of the food chain. Some people are more focused on getting the task done than caring for how you actually. However, there are some people which are there to help you no matter what the issue is which is good to known that there are people like that there.
