Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I meet with various training representatives from across the 9 head office directorates and understand their learning requirements. Filtering out work which goes to other colleagues in the learning team due to it being on leadership or of a more corporate nature. I then assist with the procurement of that training managing the budget process from start to finish. I link in with partners across the learing and larger people team to ensure a seemless as possible service,

Not under the apprenticeship no, I left it after just a few months.

Not very well organised and seemed that it was a way of drawing down on the levy more that an apprenticeship.

My manager was excellent But she had been told that I wouldnt need time away from work to study. It turns out that I need that extra time,

Why?
I have worked for the company for 24 years and have always felt safe in this company, it has also offered me so many opportunities to grow and develop.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to British Airways?
Research the company to better understand what it takes behind the scenes to get an aircraft off the ground. Learn the Management Committee and where BA sits within its family of partners.
