To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed the learning experience and getting to know all the different aspects of the job.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes totally I have learned how to deal with grieving clients and how to look after a deceased person. Learned all the laws and regulations in the funeral industry and how to be compliant in my job role.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

We had our programme running through Covid !9 rules, so found this very difficult.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots of support. I was allowed time to study and given the opportunity to work with other colleagues within Funeralcare to have an insight into their job rolls.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My trainer was always there to support me. During such a hard time we had to relate all my training over Zoom and telephone calls.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It provided me with all the knowledge needed to carry out my day to day job in Funerlacare.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes we have many local groups we can attend in the community, to support grieving families.
