I audit companies internationally through testing of invoices and reconciliations. We provide assurance to the users of financial statements in order for them to make financial decisions regarding the entity. We use excel and various audit tools to aid us
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy working however there is a lot of work to do. So there is some days where there are very long hours.

Yes many new skills including - coaching, communication, accounting treatments, business insights and use of excel

All the support you could possibly need. We have on hand tutors, a counsellor and seniors who check in on us. Always a team member available to help out with any issues were having

Lots of support, including support chat functions, email a tutor function, calls can be arranged to discuss. Lots of learning materials and practice tests.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

A lot better, it helps us understand the theory behind the work we are performing. It really helps improve my understanding
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are clubs for everything an anything. You are able to create one if there isnt. I for example have made an EY football 5 a side group where we play football every week together

Very supportive and friendly environment with great people. They make you feel so welcome. Very inlcusive environment
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
Although it may not seem like you have clue whats going on to begin with, dont worry this is completely normal. I was the same. You will develop over time
