Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Carrying out quality checks on customer interactions and business processes to provide feedback on the quality program and assist in the creation of training where necessary.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I've really enjoyed the experience and have been allowed to get involved in many exciting projects that have helped the business.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I've learnt plenty of useful life skills that will be desirable in any corporate setting. I have gained lots of confidence and my technical skills (Microsoft office and other systems) have improved drastically.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very well organised throughout the program. However there is a lot of uncertainty at the end of the program and my future within the company.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Lots of support! Weekly and monthly 121s with members of the team as well as them being available for questions throughout the day
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Lots of support including monthly catchups and a whatsapp group to ask questions. They created bespoke training material for us to refer back to and use while learning. Would have been more useful if in person but this isn't as easy with covid.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Gives me a broader understanding of the industry that my colleagues may not have. Offers me a unique perspective when having an input on group activities.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I'm a part of a diversity and inclusion Pride group which holds monthly meetings and plans events. There is also the opportunity to get involved with fitness challenges and sports groups.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BMW Group UK to a friend?
Yes
Why?
A great company to work for and everyone around the business is more than willing to support your development.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group UK?
Don't be afraid to ask questions and reach out to people for support. There is a lot of lingo that isn't obvious at first glance so it is useful to ask for help.
