5/5
I really enjoy it. I didn't consider an engineering apprenticeship until I discovered it, I always thought I'd be under qualified to get on the course.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Learning about the ins and outs of aircraft and what qualities I need to display in the workplace

Structure and Support

Teething issues in terms of logistics and scheduling of timings and events, but the overall programmed has been thoroughly explained to me and I know what to aim for.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer is always contactable if I have troubles and support me all the time. They provide accommodation as we are living far away from home at the moment

5/5
Training provider have great staff and facilities and they give us extra work if we ask for it, such as more questions and page reads
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My confidence has grown greatly since working with the training provider as they cover a very fundamental level and build from there, I feel like there a little gaps in my knowledge, but they are quickly being filled in.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
1/5
No. As we are living near to the training provider we aren't close to much socialising possibilities

Yes
Why?
They are the first employer I've had that feel genuinely invested in my career and my wellbeing.

Be honest about your interests and show your enthusiasm for the apprenticeship. Taking on the apprentice is tough but the pay off is well worth it in the end. It will be a slog, but with determination you can prove to British Airways that you deserve the job.
