5/5
The role involves doing 40% team coordination which involves sorting chairing rotas, updating trackers and leaves for the team, making sure that every work stream has resources and creating timelines. I also do policy supporting in analysing EU legislation and comparing it to U.K.‘s laws.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the exposure that the workplace gets. This is exposure to current affairs and the responsibilities that come with helping the government achieve their mandate or manifesto.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have successfully learnt to write briefings for Ministers; how to write submissions of a potential policy ideology, but importantly, prioritising work streams.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Thé programme is well organised. It timetables of what to expect, our learning logs and submissions. This helps balance both work duties and apprenticeship work.

I receive good support from my providers. This is because they ensure that we have catch up sessions or regularly send emails of any changes to meetings. The transparency between myself and the providers is what gives me the support of doing well.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
