Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Checking residents throughly everyday to ensure that the patient isn't forming any skin problems etc. Assisting with every day to day routines to washing, bathing, drying and dressing to eating and drinking. Assisting them with the most basic needs. Allowing them to be in touch with family. Making sure paper work is all filled in correctly.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed my program. The mentors were amazing and really helped me along the way. The support and assistant I got off them was amazing. They was always kept me involved in everything. They always gave feedback even if it wasn't always good but I needed that to better myself.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have lots of new things. Including in depth health and safety. I've learnt new illnesses and how to address to them properly so the patient stays as comfortable as possible. I have learnt of lot of in depth information. I have bettered my self and made sure my knowledge goes into my work.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very organised. The online platform was very easy. It was easy to find where you wanted to go. The layout was amazing and really helped me and could always go back if needed. Some bits I found confusing but I spoke with my trainer and helped assist me.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I recieve loads of support of my employer. The help has been there whenever I've needed it. The support, the encouragement and whenever I needed information it was always provided. If I need help with any part of work I knew I could relay on all members to help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

At the start of my program the trainer wasn't amazing and I was messed about a lot. I wasn't kept in touch, they hasn't been in contact in between only on appointments and then when I got my new one then she was amazing and really helped me.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
