Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
My current project is mostly admin type jobs and following standardized procedures. This is probably due to me being new to the company and having no previous experience in this type of role. There is multiple workstreams you can get involved with and some are less admin based than others, depends on which area is the busiest.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I have only been on one project so its hard to give an overall view, but it is good experience for beginners like me. There's lots of other apprentices so that is helpful especially when you need help. Everyone I have met so far has been really welcoming.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes, I had only ever worked in hospitality/ retail before this so I have learnt to use lots of new systems etc.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
You get 20% of your time for uni/ off the job learning. So can take study days around assignments and also go uni most weeks except in the holidays. More organised than other programmes I have heard of.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I have a mentor who i have regular meetings with, also have the other apprentices for support, and my project is flexible with me needing study days for assignments or taking days off for off project tasks within the company.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I have a uni mentor who i have meetings with every few months and most of my lecturers are happy to help/ provide feedback.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
At the moment, I haven't really needed it but as i get more responsibility I imagine it will be more useful.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
EY have loads of activities and groups to get involved with, and are always open to ideas.
