Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working on a software project, ensuring its quality and integrating it with other company products. Suggesting my ideas with the manager and contacting with him on a daily basis.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I did not have contact with clients and the product I worked on was internal one with rather low/average responsibility. Other experienced teammates like my manager had much more responsibility on their shoulders. It was very pleasant internship.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
My role also gave me the unique opportunity to learn new technologies in use and get overall insight into systems and platforms used in the company. I learned to use some widely-used libraries and deepened my knowledge about testing the software.

Every day I had a contact with my manager or my buddy, who guided my through my internship. If they could not do something on their own, they always indicated the right person to whom I could address my problem.
