Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
at a top level i work on promotional forecasting, creating and designing artwork for retailer promotional books, helping and assisting the field with their sales through visual aids and also producing things like scorecards which provide summaries for our group on the targets they are meant to hit for their terms payment such as net revenue and service.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The apprenticeship program has been an interesting one. I think that its quite structured which is nice. We also have assignments to do to make sure we are engaging with the content and have people to talk to if we need help. However, i feel like i could learn a lot of the content in my own time at a much quicker pace.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have worked a lot on my time management and communication skills. i think the role is quite admin heavy and deadline driven. So its important i am on top of all my deadlines and make sure everyone has the information i need. I therefore have learnt to manage my time bettter

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
like mentioned previously its well structured in that we have deadlines and assignments each month which we need to work on and complete. I worry that at the end when we complete the apprenticeship i might not get loads of value from it. I may learn some skills but i don't believe the 'apprenticeship' degree itself will help me progress in my career
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
my employer has helped me get on the apprenticeship program and support my decision to do so. I think they would support me if i decided that i no longer wanted to do the course too. I get the opportunity a lot to use the skills learnt in my day to day work
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I get the support from the training provider if i ask for it. We have learning sessions every few weeks where we learn new skills and abilities we can go forth and apply however i am sure if i had any further questions i could go to someone and ask for help
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
good question, like mentioned i think that i could learn a lot of the skills in my own time and apply to my role however the things that we do lean are mostly applicable. I think the issue i have is because i did a heavy degree at a top 10 university i think the things we cover are quite basic
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
lots of professional extra learning events - i think i don't attend many of them because of my large commitment to my work/day job. It sometimes is hard to find the time to do everything however there is lots of additional options and learning seminars which we can attend if we want

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend PepsiCo to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I love working for PepsiCo - i think that they are very flexible with my working situation and i am growing every day. Im very fortunate to be a part of the graduate scheme and therefore have been progressing and moving through the business so i am very grateful for the opportunity.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PepsiCo?
Loads of advice: i think its important to be yourself as you will enjoy working for a company that hires you for who you are. I also think its very important to prepare!! not only to learn about 'pepsico' when applying but to learn about yourself and what your key achievements in your life have been.
