Team leader looking to become a manager, this includes managing and supporting a team, work schedules, devising risk assessments and care plans in a person centred way to achieve the best level of care possible for the people we support.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Very positive tutor helps make it manageable and interesting. The work can be quite in depth but Emma helps break it down.

Yes, work load management, communication skills, how to manage stress and lots of interesting and useful skills.

Support is great from our tutor, the Bud system has worked well so far with the guidance of Emma our tutor and keeps in regular contact which supports me to get on with the work without any added stress.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have a very supportive manager but this could be facilitated a bit more by the company in general.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

As much as needed, there is regular contact and it is known if you ever need guidance shes only an email, text or phone call away.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It opens your eyes to different ways of working and different ways of viewing things, helping you grow as a manager.

The support of the tutor has been vital in my motivation for this course.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Paragon Skills?
Stay in regular contact and be honest with your tutor, talking with mine who has experienced most of what I am going through and knows the industry, feels like having a safe space where you can get things off of your chest and usually has a technique to manage it.
