Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

The job role I have is a nursery teacher who provides my setting is to provide children and their parents with support, comfort, education and help daily. This job role requires me to engage daily with children to observe them as they are developing and to offer them personal care that is unique to them.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed my program as it allowed my freedom to work alongside completing my qualification. The program offered me support throughout my training and also allowed me to work along side other trainees who were also completing their qualification. This allowed my confidence to improve and also share my experience.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

The new skills that I have learned while both working and completing my qualification, are that I can easily manage my time, my confidence has improved and also my knowledge towards my profession. I have learned that it is very important to support children within the Early stages of life.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program that I completed was very well structured and organised and allowed me to stay focused and organised while completing my program. The program also offered me an online option that allowed me to communicate and upload any work to that site which was very easy and very manageable.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Within my work place setting, I am provided with loads of support from my employer when completing my program. They will alow me time to complete any program work that I may be behind on and they can also offer me sessions where I can recoeve help with my studies.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

When working while completing a qualification my employer will always provide me with time to complete work and also anything that I may be struggling with I am offered help with. I an also given easier shifts to allow me time to work on my qualifications outside of work also.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

This educational programme provided me with the knowledge and skills to understand a wide range of theories and studies. This program helped me with offering me support for anything that I may be struggling with or if I was working overtime I was give extentions on qork so that I had extra time.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

At the moment there are currently no social or networking events outside of work. However, there is currently a process where we are providing staff members with a choice of what social and networking event they think would benefit the working moral and to help improve staff members mental health.

Would you recommend Paragon Skills to a friend?

Why?
Paragon skills had really helped me to improve on my social and physical skills so that I am able to communicate efficiently with children and their parents. Paragon also helped support me the whole time I was also working while completing my qualification as it was mostly online and easy.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Paragon Skills?
The tips and advice i would recommend to individuals thinking of completing a paragon program, would be to ensure that they are able to easily access online programs and that they are allowing time for their work between working as sometimes it may be hard to complete course work while working.
