Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Completing admin tasks such as filing, creating workflows and approving grants to support the clinical operations manager team in the set up and execution of clinical trials.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes I was given a large amount of responsibility throughout my placement year, I was solely responsible for many of my day to day tasks and had lots of opportunity for independent working.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I greatly enjoyed my placement and am very grateful that I was able to have this experience at MSD, I've learnt valuable skills for my future career and have formed good relationships with many colleagues.
