Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My daily tasks include assisting residents with thir daily living such as washing, dressing, hobbies and such. Making sure that residents have a fantastic wellbeing and enjoy thier time with us. Assisting with filling the care plans, assisting where needed and helping them remain independent. Assisting with meal times and following thier care plan for thier dietary requirements.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
If was good to receive tasks each month so I can stay up to date and not forget too such if there was a time gap, I was enjoyable when I passed aswell of course, I enjoyed the way the tasks where set up, having questions that where easy to understand but still made me think on how to answer them.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have developed skills such as improving how a team should work, how best to work together and who to report to if there are any concerns, I have improved my knowledge of outside companies that assist in my job such as CQC, and other health professionals such as nurses and doctors, and have gained more knowledge about what an advocate does.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I was very well organised, maybe a bit too much as there is not too much leeway if you miss a bit of work or fall behind. But it kept me going and made sure that I complete the course and stayed focused. The app that came with the course was amazing and help very much.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer supported me to set up the course so that I could start it in the first place, with out there help I would have had trouble starting. The starting process does take a bit of time and would be nice if it was a bit quicker and smoother maybe.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I received support from my trainer Steve each month to help me complete the work, helped me understand the bits that where worded differently or helped me just understand something that I didn't know. If I needed help between are session's he was always a quick text or email away to help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification has helped me as I am now going for a job role that required me to have passed my level 3 which I have done so.
It has helped me gain more knowledge that I can use else where and helped me perform more professionally in my current role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
There are no extra curricular actives to get involved in at my work place and this is a very odd question I must say. I currently work in a care home working nights so there tends to not be very much outside of working to do apart from actual working.
