Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

health and safety checks every 4 hours but impossible to achieve because no staff, ordering daily stock, looking after waste management, mystery shopper happiness, staff working.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Not learned much, I wasn't really shown any new skills, just had to learn on my break or days off via ipad and how to cards.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It looks organised and there are checks, but they don't really look if you progress, they just tick boxes.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Not much really. We were too busy and had no staff. I did other roles and other jobs to fill the gap.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Mainly ticking boxes. They really cheated and even gave me the answers so I pass quickly as they had no staff. I had to work other roles.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I don't know. I wasn't really trained well and had to learn myself in private time and breaks.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, going out for drinks. But I was always so tired to join them.

Would you recommend Pret to a friend?
No
Why?
Pret is too strict, too many rules, too little time to work efficiently, no feedback, only ticking boxes, loud and aggressive tones, low pay, overtime for hours and not paid adequately........
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Pret?
Don't apply. You will be disapointed.
