It involved presentations from various roles in the accounting BDO firm and at the end of the week we also need to present a presentation including things we had learnt in the programme

I really enjoyed the work experience as it gave me an idea on the different types of jobs in accounting and helped me know what I needed for the role
How well organised was your work experience?

It was very organised and I loved the way that everything was on time and in the right place for example their emails were ready as they said on time and the presentations started on time every time

It slightly helped to know what i could become in the future and I really like the way they had different option from various sectors

I learnt that the company is very diverse and welcomes everyone no matter their colour or religion, this helped me no that as a Asian muslim I have no limits to what I can achieve!

Would you recommend BDO to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Because I had a great time getting to know all the different sectors that work behind the scenes of such a large firm and I think others would benefit from them too
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BDO?
I would say just be yourself and be confident because even if you don’t get in, at least you get feedback which is very helpful for next time
