At present I'm training to be a room leader in my setting. Paragon skills have provided me with the support, knowledge and information I need to get me started and to be a great room leader.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I'm enjoying it very much, as I want to develop an understanding of the role inorder to be a good leader for my team.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've learnt how to be empathic with my team as well as deal with any issues that arise. Also about my own self-awareness my own strengths and weakness.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well organised, get course work sent through and is easily accessible. My assessor is also at the end of the phone, text or email if I have any questions regarding my work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

They are very supportive and have started me in the leadership role so I can use my knowledge and understanding as well as mirror senior staff members and managers
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Training provider is also available whenever support is needed to complete an assignment, or even general information about the course.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

There is alot to know and learn for example understanding different theorists, understanding myself to be able to understanding and support my team. My provider has provided me with information and assessment to help me gain knowledge to help me in my leadership role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We try to do team building activities outside of work but has been difficult with covid.

This is my 2nd course I'm doing with Paragonskills, I've learnt so much and still am. As the information and support provided has helped me develop skills and knowledge in order for me to progress within my job role at me setting.

No tips needed as you just need to get on the course needed and the support is thier everything is explained step by step.
