Company Director. Actively involved in the 360° recruitment process, as well as legal and contract management, and the day-to-day running of my team of consultants.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is enjoyable. It can be difficult to manage my time as the day-to-day running of my business is incredibly time-consuming. It would help if the activities were integrated into the online system instead of having to be downloaded via MS Word.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

It's very early on in the course, but the first workshop was certainly engaging. I took away some useful tools and some interesting theories.

Very well organised and structured. Anna has been brilliant so far.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There is ample support from my fellow directors and also from my team.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Again, Anna has been great so far. I've not encountered any issues other than the need to provide old exam certificates.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It's too early to say at the moment, as I've not yet had the opportunity to implement what I've learned.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes. It's been difficult to manage team activities, owing to the pandemic, but there are a number of extra-curricular activities to get involved in.

I think the programme offers interesting theory that helps with self-development, and also practical tools and skills that can be implemented in the workplace to improve productivity and the working environment.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Paragon Skills?
Ensure you are clear about how much of an undertaking it is, and that you will have sufficient time to make the most of the training.
