On paper the structure is good. During placements around the business in different departments, the organization is lacking. At times it seems as though teams are just given an apprentice with no plan about how to use them correctly or develop their skills. It is dependent on the departments management.

The help is there, but I don't often need it due to the degree often being different to my day to day operation.

The applicable knowledge is module dependent. Very theory based modules such as strategic management concepts would be most applicable at top level management. Basic learning and frameworks in modules such as finance, project management and personal development are more applicable
