Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Reviewing requirements of current projects via team calls to determine plan of action for the day, then working on them. Mainly involves the use of PowerBi software to work on the company projects that get assigned, or requested.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
A large amount of responsibility was given to me, with the ability to communicate what kinds of projects fields I'd be interested in, and my manager would do their best to make sure these were accommodated for. Was given a lot of opportunities to work with senior stakeholders and present current progress.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Developed a better sense of confidence, team-working and time management. Also developed my understanding of IT systems, and how to make efficient solutions to achieve goals and analyze data to make decisions.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
A lot of training and support was provided with managers, buddies and mentors. Alongside this, there are useful resources to help understand what a project may entail. A great culture of voicing opinions fearlessly and asking questions on anything - emphasis on 'no such thing as a stupid question'.

A great warm, friendly and welcoming environment, with a high focus on diversity and inclusiveness. Various opportunities for socializing and expanding your network, with charity events and meetups.

What advice would you give to others applying to PepsiCo
Don't be afraid to apply. There is always an opportunity to suit your needs and what appeals to you as a person. Being your natural self is encouraged, as there is a great emphasis on your true self, and how important that is for the workplace. The assessment process is great to learn more about the company, just as much they can learn about you.
