Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Phantom quality leader. This role involves steering the quality control and problem landscape for Phantom. This means that I prioritize issues based on severity and or ease of fixing, and then assign the issues to the relevant quality specialist and support them when they require it until the issue is resolved.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy the work that I do as I find it interesting and engaging, I also get along well with the team of associates already here. I also get along well with the other apprentices in my cohort and enjoy our time together at college where we do our theory and qualification side of the course.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
Yes I have improved my general IT skills, as well as learning new software tools and specific programs for use in this job such as CAD programs and data analysis programs. However I do not know what role I am going into at the end so I do not know for certain whether these skills will be applicable.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
1/5
I have to say that in some areas, the organization has not been what I thought it would be. For example it was not until quite late into the apprenticeship that we started the level 4 qualification and it feels somewhat rushed/high pressure now. The placements I have had have been well organised but I do not know what role I am going into at the end of my apprenticeship so I do not know how relevant the skills will be.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
For the most part, I have nothing but good things to say about the support that I have received from RRMC during my apprenticeship, however sometimes at points during the apprenticeship, it has been somewhat hands off in my opinion, with long times at college with nothing heard from work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Chichester College Group have for the most part provided good support and resources to us during the apprenticeship, however as mentioned previously, the level 4 course feels very rushed due to the time constraints, which I feel sometimes can impact negatively on the quality of the training provided to us.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
Some areas, such as the level 4 math statistics have been very helpful, however some areas are not relevant to my career path or job role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
Not that I do
