Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Working in NM audit so spend my days doing audit work for various clients, working alongside a team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Really enjoy the program - think the experiences are invaluable meanwhile you have the opportunity to make contacts and earn a salary at such a young age. I think this is much more valuable than a university degree.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes - developed much more confidence, especially to ask for help. Also feel I am continually learning new things about audit methodology and standard practices.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The departmental aspect is very organised however there has been several issues in the past with PQA regarding information communication, response rates and exam bookings so I think this needs to be focused on as these complaints have been mentioned for years now.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Receive a lot of support between my department people leader/performance manager and then additional support from apprenticeship team and BPP staff.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
High level of support provided from BPP - detailed tuition, extensive notes and lots of question practice (including achievement ladder steps) have been very beneficial to exam success so far.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The content is very relevant to my daily job which helps when working and also helps with regards to revision.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes - ordinarily there are plenty of social events (pre-Covid) and various virtual attempts to encourage colleague interaction.
