Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role mainly consists of sending out contracts and dealing with the onboarding of new recruits in the non volume team as part of the wider HR. I also Deal with setting up background checks to ensure all candidates are suitable to join the business. I also deal with a few other small administrative tasks.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I have really enjoyed my programme and working in a completely new environment that I am not used to. Starting virtually has been a challenge but both my work colleagues and college assessors have been amazing at helping me settle in. Balancing my work and college work has been tricky at times however I have loved every minute of it

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt many new skills as well as massively increasing my confidence and communication skills. I have gained a lot of new IT skills such as collating and analysing data and researching information. I have also learned how to manage my time better and prioritise all my important tasks first.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme has been structured superbly and my managers and assessors have kept in contact with both myself and each other to ensure that The whole process has been as smooth as possible. We also have set time every week to focus on our college work and this helps ensure we are putting amount the right amount of time into both aspects of the apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
My employer gives me all the support i need. Every time I get a new task, my manager makes sure that I have the required evidence to use. If I do not my manager will discuss with me to organise a task that will be suitable to use for my qualification.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My college assessors are also brilliant in ensuring I always get the support I need and never take long to respond to any queries that i May ask of them. They always set aside enough time to ensure I know exactly what im doing and keep in constant contact until the day the task is due.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I feel it Has helped a lot, as it gives me the opportunity to complete tasks that I may wouldn't have had in the case I wasn't completing the programme on top of my normal Job. It also gives me the chance to move from team to team in my job which has gave me a lot of experience in different areas.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are many things to do and communities to join. We have the opportunity to join several different teams that help us broaden our networks, help ourselves and other colleagues, and make a massive difference to the culture at Sky. One example of the many teams are the wellbeing warriors.
